NYACOL® COLLOIDAL YTTRIA
NYACOL®
Y2O3 (Yttrium Oxide) sol is designed for use as a
sintering aid for silicon nitride and other ceramics, as a stabilizer
for zirconia ceramics, for producing a transformation toughened alumina
ceramic, as a high temperature binder for ceramics and fibers, and as a
core wash for titanium investment casting.

Packaging
NYACOL® Y2O3 is available in
5-gallon plastic pails and 55-gallon plastic drums. Packaging in
smaller or alternate materials of construction containers is available
upon request.
Storage
NYACOL® Y2O3 should not be
subjected to temperatures of 0ºC (32°F) or below to avoid
freezing. Shelf life is at
least six months at 5ºC (41ºF) and two to three months at 25ºC (77º F).
Safety
NYACOL® Y2O3 may cause eye and skin
irritation. Users should observe precautions printed on the package
label. A Material Safety
Data Sheet (MSDS) for this product will be supplied on request.
